I think the volume has been increased in this game compared to other PSP games. I almost finished B3 because of that damn F1 burning lap at the end. Hearing sirens in a game about racing fast just seems right, you know what I mean? 175 events total which is about the same as B3 so if you've finished B3, you know what to expect. I've never played B2 so I didn't know what it was like but after playing it its pretty cool. Actually I think it helps the graphics because it gives it that extra blur that thats missing from B3 and it masks the sharpness of the environment a little bit. ![]() There is a very slight ghosting effect caused by the PSP's screen but its only noticable to the trained eye. It's not a big deal though since you're going at 150-200mph. To me they look the same on the PSP's screen except everything looks a little sharper and jagged. If you've played the B3 tracks then you know how detailed some of the scenery can be. The graphics, as every review has said, are the best the PSP currently has to offer. I prefer to use the analog stick but the dpad works well too. Whatever the config you choose, the controls are just as tight and exactly as I remember them from B3. The 2nd config maps the gas and brake to the shoulder buttons instead of the X, Square config of B3. Yea, not much but aleast its better than B3's lack of configurations. You can choose between 2 preset configurations.
